OHS “Walk Out” in Memory of Columbine

Oskaloosa High School students have reported that there will be a “walk out” held at 10 AM in memory of the Columbine Massacre and recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Participating students say they are hoping to use this event to raise awareness on gun violence in America.

Oskaloosa High School Community Blood Drive

Oskaloosa High School will host a community blood drive from 10:00 AM to 2:45 PM on Thursday, April 19 at 1816 N Third Street, inside of the Small Gym. To donate, please contact a member of OHS Student Council or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 5066 to locate the drive.

OHS Choir Concert

The Oskaloosa High School Choirs would like to invite you to a choral concert on Tuesday, Feb. 20. This concert will feature our Oskaloosa High School Concert Choir, Chamber Chorus and Middle School Choir. This event will be held at the George Daily Auditorium at 7:30 PM. There is no cost for the concert, however there will be an opportunity to give a free will donation to our organization. Our students have worked very hard to put together the highest quality choral music for our community. Please come out and enjoy an evening of choral music with us!

OHS Community Blood Drive

Oskaloosa High School will host a community blood drive from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM on Tuesday, November 28 at 1816 N Third Street, inside the Small Gym. This blood drive has been sponsored by the OHS Student Council. To donate, please contact a member of the student council, or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use the code 5066 to locate the blood drive.

Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form, available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Blood Center at (800)747-5401. Donors who last gave blood on or before 10/3/17 are eligible to give at this drive.
