A multiple winner of the Academy of Country Music’s Top Bass award, he plays on several hundred hits by Alan Jackson, George Strait, Faith Hill, Toby Keith and Martina McBride, among others. In addition, he co-produces hits by Miranda Lambert and David Nail

1941: Ray Stevens is born in Clarksdale, Georgia. Though capable of serious recordings such as “Everything Is Beautiful” and “Misty,” he earns a reputation for his comedy efforts, including “The Streak,” “Ahab, The Arab” and “Shriner’s Convention”


 

“Rock On College Tour” – Tucker Beathard

Tucker Beathard will be hitting several college towns this fall on his headlining “Rock On College Tour.” The trek will kick off in Champaign, Illinois, on October 13 and will make stops in additional “Big Ten Conference” towns through the month of November. The tour will also feature special guest Aubrie Sellers, an artist whom Beathard says he’s become good friends with this year.  Tucker says, “(Aubrie) doesn’t sound like anyone else out there, and her band is ridiculously good.  There’s no place better than a college town in the Fall…I’m really excited to get started!”

 

·       Beathard’s family history steeped in football, and he sees a lot of similarities between playing competitive sports and touring. Beathard says, “If I learned anything from growing up on a field surrounded by coaches and athletes, it’s that you have to keep your head down and keep practicing.   Two hundred shows later, and I think we are ready to go tackle our first club tour.”

Tucker Beathard To Headline In Europe

Tucker Beathard has announced that he will return for a second time this year to play a string of headlining dates in the UK and Ireland. Beathard will begin his headlining stint on 12/3 in Dublin, IE and will continue to London, UK (12/4) as well as Glasgow, UK (12/5).

 

·       Tickets will go on-sale starting 8/31.

·       Beathard said, “When I went over to Europe for the first time a few months back, I really didn’t know what to expect and if the audiences would ‘get’ me and what I’m about. I never really felt like I fit in growing up, until I found music as an outlet to connect and express myself. It was honestly an awesome surprise the way that the audiences over there really seemed to listen and engage with the songs. I just felt like something cool was happening and I knew I had to come back as soon as possible.”

Tucker Beathard Premieres His Debut Video “Rock On” Exclusively On PEOPLE

Newcomer Tucker Beathard has premiered the music video for his debut single “Rock On” exclusively on PEOPLE. Tucker admits that filming his first-ever full-length music video was a very new experience for him. In the video, Tucker reflects on his past love interest but is unaware that she too has been struggling since their split.
