Florida Georgia Line’s “God, Your Mama, And Me” Goes #1

Florida Georgia Line has taken the top spot on the country charts this week and they’ve brought the Backstreet Boys (BSB) with them. The two groups reach the chart’s summit with their collaborative single, “God, Your Mama, And Me,” giving FGL their 13th No. 1 song and BSB their first country chart-topper. The song also marks the duo’s third consecutive No. 1 from their Dig Your Roots album, following “H.O.L.Y.” and “May We All” (featuring Tim McGraw).

Tyler Hubbard Reveals Baby’s Gender

Just one day after announcing that his wife Hayley was pregnant with their first child, Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard revealed that the gender of that baby is a boy. During a gender reveal party on Thursday (6/8), the couple cut a slice out of a special boy-girl cake, revealing its blue center. Hubbard posted videos from the party on his Instagram Stories, including a shot of his baby boy’s first pair of shoes.

BREAKING: Tyler Hubbard and Wife are Expecting A Baby

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley are expecting their first child! The couple revealed the happy news on Wednesday (6/7), telling People that their baby is due to arrive in December. Hayley found out she was pregnant after her and Tyler had just come home from traveling to California and she wasn’t sleeping well. She soon took a pregnancy test and could hardly contain her excitement when she got the results. Hayley says she didn’t have time to think of how to surprise Tyler with the news, so she just jumped back into bed and showed him the pregnancy stick.

 

·         Hubbard says of the new chapter in their life, “Hayley and I both really love learning and growing as people. For us, it’s the next phase and the next stage of life that God can really teach us a lot and show us patience…and selflessness.”

Florida Georgia Line is Searching for Look-Alikes

Florida Georgia Line is searching for look-alikes to appear in their next music video. The duo’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley have put out a nationwide casting call for doubles who can match their signature look circa 2012, which will be featured in an upcoming flashback video. To try out, would-be doppelgangers can visit the special casting website and submit photos and/or videos to prove they’re twin material.

Granger Smith Penned New Single With Tyler Hubbard

Granger Smith has announced the release of his new single “Happens Like That,” a song which he co-wrote with Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard while the two were on the “Dig Your Roots Tour.” Granger tells Billboard that he and Tyler penned the song while they sat on a tour bus in a Tacoma, Washington, parking lot and watched fans file into the show. “Happens Like That” will be available on May 19 and will impact radio on June 12.

 

  • Smith says, “Writing on tour, in the heart of all our fans, where ultimately the songs will be delivered, is a game changer for me. We can literally look out the window of the bus and write songs about the town where we are parked.”

Florida Georgia Line is Opening A New Restaurant in Nashville

Florida Georgia Line is opening a new restaurant and entertainment venue in the heart of downtown Nashville. Dubbed FGL House, the new four-story attraction will be located on 3rd Avenue South in city’s trendy SoBro district and is set to open in early summer 2017. FGL House will feature a world-class kitchen that blends Southern style cuisine with California flair, as well as daily live music and bars on each floor. FGL Presents Veteran With An All-Terrain Wheelchair

During a recent “Dig Your Roots” tour stop, Florida Georgia Line teamed up with the Independence Fund to give retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage an all-terrain wheelchair. The duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard were personally on hand to present the wheelchair to Savage, who lost his leg in 2010 while serving in Afghanistan. FGL posted a picture of them with the veteran, saying, “Truly blessed to be able to present a chair to retired Army Staff Sergeant Shane Savage.”

 

·       This marks the second time that FGL has presented an all-terrain wheelchair to a wounded veteran. Earlier this year, the duo presented a wheelchair to retired Army Sergeant Seth Kotouc at a show in Oklahoma City.

Florida Georgia Line Announces Release Date For Dig Your Roots

Florida Georgia Line has announced the release of their third studio album, Dig Your Roots, out August 26. FGL recently used their social media platforms to unveil the record’s throwback cover, which features childhood photos of the duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. The left side of the album cover features a diaper-clad Brian wearing a cowboy hat and boots, while the right side shows a toddler version of Tyler riding his toy ATV. Hubbard shares, “We both started out playing guitar, singing in church and writing songs so we wanted to let fans see our foundation – a deeper side to us. We couldn’t have picked a more fitting title or image for Dig Your Roots.”

Randy Houser Ties The Knot

Randy Houser tied the knot with Tatiana Starzynski last week in Franklin, Tennessee. PEOPLE reported that the couple walked down the aisle after their “I Dos” to Florida Georgia Line’s new song “H.O.L.Y.” Houser’s 4-year-old son West and his dog Hawk served as the ring bearers and were escorted down the aisle by groomsmen Tyler Hubbard of FGL.
