THE OSKALOOSA BOY'S GOLF TEAM FINISHES 7TH IN PELLA

The Oskaloosa Boy’s Golf Team Finishes 7th in Pella

The Oskaloosa boys’ golf team was in action at the Dutch Masters in Pella over the weekend at Bos Landen Golf Course. The Indians finished in 7th, led by Spencer Tucker who finished in second place, just three strokes behind medalist Dane Waldron of Clear Lake. Waldron shot a 76, while Tucker shot a 79.

Williamsburg was the team champion at 342, but they had to win a playoff against Creston to clinch it as both teams tied for first. Clear Lake was third, Pella’s Green team was fourth, Knoxville was 5th, and PCM finished in 6th ahead of Osky. Nodaway Valley finished in 8th, Pella Christian was in 9th, Fairfield finished in 10th, and Pella’s White team finished in 11th.

The boys’ and girls’ golf teams are back in action today. The boys are back at Bos Landen Golf Course to face Pella Christian, and the girls are at home against Albia and Chariton at Edmundson Golf Course.
