More light snow tracks through for Friday, especially north of Iowa City.  Amounts will stay light, but could add up to a couple of inches in a few areas.  A few snow showers will track through the rest of the area, but little to no accumulation is expected due to a dry layer above the surface.

And then it gets bitterly cold as Polar air tracks into the region for the weekend and into next week.We will get near record lows Monday morning when wind chills could approach 30 degrees below zero.
