Town Square Dental Care, Oskaloosa, is proud to welcome Dr. Lena Holz to its team. A 2014 graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Dr. Holz recently moved to Iowa where her husband, Daniel, is studying to be an endodontist at the University of Iowa. Although fairly new to Iowa, Lena and Daniel are already falling in love with the area and feeling very much at home.

“I grew up in a small town in Sothern West Virginia,” Dr. Holz says. “Rural Iowa reminds me of home and I love it.”

Dr. Holz attended Emory & Henry College in Virginia for two years prior to transferring to Concord University in Athens, WV and graduating Summa Cum Laude, May 2009. Dr. Holz went on to attend  dental school at WVU School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors, May 2014. Upon

graduation, she completed a 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program at C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, FL.

In her spare time, she enjoys being with friends and family, hiking, cross country skiing, biking, traveling and exploring new areas, cooking and trying new foods. She balances her love of food with yoga and Pilates. Dr. Holz is excited to join Town Square Dental Care and looks forward to serving our patients.

This year, Town Square Dental Care celebrates 13 years of business. In 2003, the clinic opened its doors with Dr. Eric De Boef as President and dentist.
