In Pella, the Boardwalk House will be moved starting at 9 this morning (10/23) and that will lead to some slow moving traffic along the route.  That route starts at Broadway and University, then going to Main Street via University.  Then from Main Street to Oskaloosa Street, from Oskaloosa Street to Clark Street and then from Clark Street to Brown NationaLease.  The Boardwalk House will remain at Brown NationaLease Tuesday night, then be moved to its new location on Wednesday (10/24).  Pella Police warn that traffic will be congested while Boardwalk House is being moved on those streets.  You might want to find alternate routes today and tomorrow while Boardwalk House is being moved.

There will also be some traffic detours in Ottumwa starting this morning (10/23).  The 500 block of Ottumwa Street will be closed to put in a new storm line and intakes for the Washington Street Apartments. That block of Ottumwa Street will be closed to through traffic through November 2, weather permitting. And the annual fall maintenance on the Jefferson Street Viaduct starts at 9 this morning and should be finished by days end.  Then tomorrow (10/24), the Market Street Bridge will temporarily close at 9am and should re-open by days end.  That also is for annual fall maintenance.
