VIVIAN, La.-A packed pit full of USMTS Modifieds were on hand Thursday for opening night of the 9th Annual USMTS Winter Nationals presented by YouDirt.com at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway, but Mother Nature claimed the checkers.

With rain falling on the high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval Thursday evening, track and USMTS officials announced that a decision will be made and announced by 12 noon on Friday regarding the remainder of action slated for the weekend.
