Vice President Mike Pence to survey damage from Nebraska flooding

Vice President Mike Pence announced on Twitter Tuesday that he is heading to Nebraska to survey the devastating flood damage that his the state.

“To the people of Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Kansas & all regions impacted: we are with you!”- the tweet said.

This comes after White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Monday night that President Trump asked the vice president to travel to Nebraska.

Pence will be accompanied by Gov. Pete Ricketts and Gov. Kim Reynolds of Iowa.
